The Fees are as follows:

$20 Payable to Oceanside Ice Arena & then the Instructor’s Fees payable directly to them.

After a successful 4 year OHL Junior career, spent primarily in Guelph, right-winger Sean Whyte was drafted by the Los Angeles Kings in 1989 sean1a-sm and played 21 games with them during the seasons of 1991-92 and 1992-93. In a total of 11 years, Sean’s playing stats are as follows:1032 games, 339 goals, 530 assists, 869 points, 1442 minutes in penalties. Whyte led the Phoenix Roadrunners in scoring one year and was also an IHL All-Star. When the Roadrunner franchise folded following the 1995-96 campaign, the fans honored Whyte by naming him to the All-Time Roadrunner All-Star Team as top right-winger. Sean finished off his career back in Phoenix with a new club, called the Mustangs, a West Coast Hockey League franchise. During his time with the Mustangs, he also served as the club’s Assistant Coach, and in 2000, he helped them capture the WCHL championship. For the past 32 years, Sean has been involved with instructing and coaching young hockey players. He has worked for well-known hockey schools such as Can/Am, Huron, and Hawkesbury. Sean owned and ran his own hockey school in Canada for 9 years, called Northern Edge Hockey School. He has also run many other schools, clinics, and private lessons throughout the US and Canada in both ice hockey and roller hockey. Todd has now instructed and coached for over 28 years, with his expertise being in Power Skating, Stick handling and High Performance Skating Clinics. Todd has also coached hundreds of players that have now moved on to Division 1, Major Junior or the NHL. Since coaching in Arizona he has coached at all levels varying from Mite Novice AAA to Midget AAA and Tier 2 Juniors in the WSHL. In addition, Todd carries his Level 4 Advanced Coaching Certification and from 1999-2012 Todd was a USA Hockey Arizona State Camp Evaluator. Todd has always had an extreme passion and knowledge for the game of hockey. Playing since he was a child, he then introduced the game to both of his sons. Todd is currently coaching for the Jr. Sun Devils Youth hockey program in Tempe, Todd Collins
Jarred is originally from Discovery Bay, CA. Jarred excels in teaching skills such as power skating, stick handling, and game concepts. He attend college at Arizona State University, playing four years for the Sun Devils. He graduated in 2012 with a B.A. in Communication and a minor in Media Analysis. Jarred is entering his 4 season with DYHA and is currently coaching multiple teams for the Jr. Sun Devils (Formerly Phoenix Firebirds). Having also coached for Team Northwest, Pro Ambitions, and Evolution Hockey, Jarred has created a reputation of developing skills and preparing players for the highest levels of hockey. As the youngest head coach at DYHA, he has earned a USA Hockey Level 4 Coaching Certification and has coached numerous teams to tournament Championships and successful winning seasons. Josh Brown (ASU Sun Devils Head Coach: ACHA D1). Josh enters the 2016-17 season, his first with Arizona State University, as head coach of the ACHA Men’s Ice Hockey program. He comes to the Sun Devils having previously coached within the ACHA, NCAA, USHL, NAHL and in several international tournaments including the 2013 International Ice Hockey Federation Under-18 Men’s World Championship. email Josh Brown


Semi-Private Lessons will be scheduled by each individual Instructor and based on availability during the allotted times.

Effective 3/26/2016 lessons will be on Wednesdays and Fridays 3:50- 4:50 PM. These days and times will run through August.
